Leda in Albion
Bring a contemporary-classical narrative painting to your home with this print of my oil painting "Leda in Albion".
Based on the classical Greek myth, Zeus joins Leda while taking on the form of a swan and seducing her. Pregnant, Leda goes on to birth eggs from which one of her children Helen, who goes on to play a key role in the start of the Trojan war.
Set within an contemporary English environment Leda is re-envisioned in my own Arcadia story, where the myth has cycled once more in to our modern world.
